Courtney Hoilett

Courtney has been involved in music and theatre for over 20 years.

He has a great passion for music and singing and started off his singing career in his local  church choir, at Chiswick SDA church. Courtney then went on to sing in an Accapella group called Allegiance for over 6 years and then was the front man for a contemporary gospel band called CJAM7.  Courtney currently sings in a contemporary gospel choir called IDMC and has done so now for over 7 years. Courtney loves the creativity involved in song writing and is currently trying to put some songs together for an EP, though he says that he  does not know when he will get this finished.

From a theatrical perspective, Courtney has appeared in a number of plays including;

The Golden Dream, Redemption Song, Omega, and most recently has played several parts in an amazing production called Love Sax and All That Jazz that is currently touring the UK.

Courtney's musical influences are many but to name a few:

Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Take Six, Fred Hammond, The Winans, Rance Allen,  Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Angie Stone, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill

In his own words;

"I do enjoy being out in front of an audience I will admit that now so I guess God blessed me with a voice so I could do that.   I do recognise that whatever you do in life you have to keep working at it to maintain and improve it, so I’d encourage anyone just starting out in the world of music to work hard and keep working hard and let your performances speak for you.

If you want to know more you’ll have to speak to me in person…"
